On 2 June this year, EFAMA will host its second annual conference on tokenisation, the Digital Assets Forum, in Brussels. Following the success of last year’s event, we are excited to once again bring together key policymakers, regulators, and DLT experts from across the financial services industry, including traditional players and fintechs.
We will be able to look at what the last 12 months have brought in terms of broader industry adoption of digital assets and what it means going forward. There is a distinct sense that the industry is split into digital leaders and laggards, with a growing gap between the two. Today, the varied products and services that run on blockchain are looking to scale up, while regulators around the world are walking the fine rope between protecting financial stability and investors, and facilitating innovation.
The morning is reserved for a buy-side only session, involving external expert guest speakers. This will be followed by an afternoon public event showcasing expert discussions covering regulatory developments, tokenised product offerings as well as the broader DLT ecosystem.
