SIFA’s position paper regarding the consultation by Commission Services on the Review of the markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) – Section 7
The Swedish Investment Fund Association (SIFA)[1] would like to submit its comments to the above mentioned consultation.
General comments
SIFA is a member of the European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA). SIFA welcomes the possibility to comment on all of the issues covered by the consultation. We have however, in light of the structure of the membership of SIFA, chosen to prioritise Section 7 – Investor protection and Provision of Investment service and questions 84 to132 and wish to state that we concur with the views put forward in the EFAMA reply to the consultation.
